Documentation | File units : meters 1. The mean has been removed from the tabulated oceanic center-of-mass values. The mean com (meters; x,y,z) = -8.23369563E+05 -5.82073433E+05 -1.00075675E+06 2. To convert the center-of-mass values tabulated here to the geocenter values of Dong et al. (1997), use their equation 4 with the mass of the Earth Me set to 5.983E+24 kg, and the load (ocean) mass Ml set to 1.213789377614856E+21 kg. 3. The values tabulated here have not been filtered, whereas those shown in Figure 2 of Dong et al. (1997) have been bandpass filtered. |
