************************************************************************ IERS Message No. 468 January 13, 2023 ************************************************************************ 2nd EOP Prediction Comparison Campaign Workshop No. 2 Dear Colleagues, The 2nd EOP PCC Office at CBK PAN together with the University of Alicante and GFZ Potsdam are pleased to announce that the Second Earth Orientation Parameters Prediction Comparison Campaign (2nd EOP PCC) Workshop No. 2 will be held from 1 to 3 March 2023 in hybrid form: on-site in Alicante and online. Similar to the 2nd EOP PCC Workshop No. 1, which took place online on February 15-16, 2022, the purpose of the conference is to summarize the course of the campaign, present the updated results and discuss next steps. We will be happy to get feedback from campaign participants and members of the IERS Working Group on the 2nd EOP PCC. We invite all interested parties (and not only the 2nd EOP PCC participants and members of the Working Group) to take part in the Workshop and submit abstracts. We welcome all topics related to determinations, analyses, and predictions of EOP, as well as discussions on reference solutions for EOP prediction validation, effective angular momentum analyses, and other topics that you consider relevant. Participants will also have the opportunity to publish their works in the conference proceedings. The abstract submission is open and the deadline is January 31, 2023. The registration for the Workshop will be possible soon. For more details, we invite you to visit 2nd EOP PCC website (http://eoppcc.cbk.waw.pl/general-information-2/). Kind regards, Jolanta Nastula, Justyna Sliwinska ************************************************************************ IERS Messages are edited and distributed by the IERS Central Bureau.
