Contact address of IERS Rapid Service/Prediction Center


Due to changes in U.S. Naval Observatory network policy, the IERS Rapid
Service/Prediction Center (RS/PC) can no longer accept email messages
sent to its original public contact address (ser7@maia.usno.navy.mil).
A permanent replacement for this address is being developed. In the
meantime, email correspondence intended for the IERS RS/PC should be
directed to navobsy_eop.fct@navy.mil. Please resubmit any correspondence
attempted since 8 May 2017 to this new address.

IERS Bulletin A product mailings are still being distributed from
ser7@maia.usno.navy.mil, but because this address is unable to receive
inbound replies, it is recommended that subscribers to the Bulletin A
mailing list whitelist ser7@maia.usno.navy.mil on their email servers to
prevent requested mailings from being mistakenly intercepted by
automated spam filtering systems. Requests for subscription or
unsubscription from the mailing list can still be made through the
Document Request Form on the IERS RS/PC website
(http://maia.usno.navy.mil/docrequest.html), via the document request
form link at
http://www.usno.navy.mil/USNO/earth-orientation/eo-products/weekly/
bulla/bulletin-a [please note the line wrap in this linkl],
or via email requests sent to navobsy_eop.fct@navy.mil.

It is anticipated that Bulletin A mailings will be distributed by a new
email address once a permanent replacement for the existing mailing list
system is ready. All subscribers will be notified in advance of any
upcoming changes via email, as well as via announcements posted to the
IERS RS/PC website (http://maia.usno.navy.mil).
