************************************************************************ IERS Message No. 311 August 30, 2016 ************************************************************************ DGFI-TUM ITRS realization - DTRF2014 Dear colleagues, We are happy to inform you about the publication of the final version of the ITRS realization of DGFI-TUM called DTRF2014. The SINEX-files are available via the PANGAEA data portal at http://doi.pangaea.de/10.1594/PANGAEA.864046 The DTRF2014 is the first ITRS realization considering corrections for non-tidal atmospheric and hydrological loading. Respective loading time series for each station were provided by Tonie van Dam (GGFC). They are provided together with the DTRF2014. The loading time series are based on the atmosphere model NCEP and the hydological model GLDAS. Please note: In contrast to the final DTRF2014, the preliminary solution published by the end of 2015 was computed using a classical approach without correcting for non-tidal loading. The DTRF2014 is provided in four technique-specific SINEX files (i.e. separate for GNSS, VLBI, SLR and DORIS) as well as in one common SINEX file (all techniques). The zipped files on the PANGAEA server are named - DTRF2014.snx.gz - DTRF2014_GPS.snx.gz - DTRF2014_VLBI.snx.gz - DTRF2014_SLR.snx.gz - DTRF2014_DORIS.snx.gz They contain estimated station coordinates and velocities for the reference epoch 2005.0 as well as the corresponding full variance/co-variance matrix. Consistently estimated EOP are available in the file DTRF2014_EOP-F2.DAT. In addition, in order to best approximate the quasi-instantaneous station position at each epoch, we provide station-specific models for the correction of the station positions computed from the linear model. These station-specific models are: - non-tidal loading time series for each station; stored in the archives NT-ATML.zip and NT-CWSL.zip, - residual time series resulting from an epoch-wise transformation of the technique-specific solutions w.r.t. the combined DTRF2014 solution; stored in the archive RESID.zip, - time series of origin translations derived from a transformation of the weekly SLR station network w.r.t. the combined DTRF2014 solution; stored in the archive DTRF2014_SLRorigin.zip. A manual for the application of these corrections is provided (DTRF2014_readme.pdf). Further information on the DTRF2014 can be found on the webpages of DGFI-TUM: http://www.dgfi.tum.de/science-data-products/dtrf2014/ http://www.dgfi.tum.de/DTRF2014_en When using DTRF2014 data, please cite: Seitz M., Blossfeld M., Angermann D., Schmid R., Gerstl M., Seitz F.: The new DGFI-TUM realization of the ITRS: DTRF2014 (data).
