GAGER2016 Lectures The GAGER2016 Lectures, to be held after and associated with the Joint IAU / IAG / IERS Symposium, aims to provide fundamental and essential knowledge on Earth rotation and related Earth dynamics to young researchers and PhD students through some short lectures given by some distinguished researchers. The Lectures are expected to play important role in passing down scientific knowledge to the young generation. Invited Speakers for GAGER2016 Lectures: Aleksander Brzezinski Space Research Center, PAS, Poland Benjamin Fong Chao Academia Sinica, Taipei Veronique Dehant Royal Observatory of Belgium, Belgium Jose Ferrandiz Universidad de Alicante, Spain Richard Gross Jet Propulsion Laboratory, USA Cheng-Li Huang Shanghai Astronomical Observatory, CAS, China Jim Ray National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (Retired), USA Harald Schuh Deutsches GeoForschungsZentrum, Germany Tonie van Dam University of Luxembourg, Luxembourg Benefits for Young Scientists and Graduate Students Master or Doctor candidates, as first authors, have the opportunities to be granted with first or second prizes for their papers. All GAGER2016 Symposium attendees can attend the GAGER2016 Lectures free of charge.
