Scientific Organizing Committee ------------------------------- A. Brzezinski, Poland; N. Capitaine, France (Chair); V. Dehant, Belgium; A.Escapa, Spain; C. Hohenkerk, UK; Cheng-Li Huang, China; I. Kumkova, Russian Federation; D.D. McCarthy, USA; M. Soffel, Germany; J. Souchay, France; J. Vondrak, Czech R.; Ya. Yatskiv, Ukraine Local Organizing Committee -------------------------- P. Baudoin, O. Becker, C. Bizouard, N. Capitaine, P. Delva, N. Dimarcq (Chair), D. Gambis, S. Lambert, M. Pailler, D. Souami, F. Taris Scientific objectives --------------------- The main purpose of these series of international meetings is to provide a forum for advanced discussions in the fields of space and time reference systems, Earth rotation, solar system ephemerides, astrometry and time. The Journees 2013 will be focused on the issues related to the theoretical and practical aspects of space-time reference systems, the realization of the next ICRF, atomic and pulsar-based time-scales, Earth rotation, numerical standards, ephemerides and dynamical models for the solar system, etc. There will be presentations and discussions related to the IAU Working Groups, such as "Numerical Standards for Fundamental Astronomy" (NSFA), "ICRS", "Redefinition of UTC", "Pulsar-based Timescales", etc. Practical information and submission of abstracts ------------------------------------------------- The web page of the Journees 2013 is available at http://syrte.obspm.fr/jsr/journees2013/ It contains a general description of the Journees, the addresses for contact, the rationale of the Journees 2013 and links to the list of the previous Journees and the Proceedings of the Journees 2003 to 2011. The Journees 2013 web page will be updated regularly in order to contain the up-to-date information regarding the programme, participants and practical information. On-line registration and instructions for submitting an abstract will be posted shortly. Preliminary Scientific programme -------------------------------- The programme will include sessions on: - Theoretical aspects of reference systems - The Next ICRF - Progress and developments - Atomic and pulsar-based timescales - Progress and developments - Earth Rotation - Theory, modelling and observations - Solar System Dynamics - Theory, modelling and numerical standards Oral and poster presentations proposals are encouraged on all these topics.
