************************************************************************ IERS Message No. 206 February 27, 2012 ************************************************************************ New visualization tools for time series online on the IDS web site Dear colleagues, A new set of tools, we called Plot tools, is available on the IDS website to interactively build and display graphs of DORIS station coordinates time series and orbit residuals: http://ids-doris.org/plot-tools.html These web tools are: - STCDtool providing station coordinates time series (North, East, Up residuals) from the IDS Analysis Centers. http://ids-doris.org/plottool/stcdtool.php - POEtool providing statistics time series (orbit residuals and number of measurements for the DORIS stations) from CNES Precise Orbit Determination processing. http://ids-doris.org/plottool/poetool.php Possibilities are offered to edit data, change graph appearance, get statistics. Several plots may be plotted on the same graph and additional data such as station and satellite events may be added. Data, plots and graph statistics can be exported in different formats. Note that some biases may exist between the station coordinates time series of the Analysis Centers. They can be explained by the choice of different reference positions. On the other hand, for one same site, discontinuities may be observed from one station to another. This can be due to the non-inclusion of the ties between the successive stations. An effort will be done in the near future to correct these current imperfections. We hope that these tools will be helpful for DORIS analysts and that they will be appreciated. All suggestions of improvement are welcome. Best regards, Laurent Soudarin On behalf of the IDS Central Bureau. ************************************************************************ IERS Messages are edited and distributed by the IERS Central Bureau.
