IERS Workshop on Global Geophysical Fluids: NEW DATE


                       SECOND ANNOUNCEMENT
                          IERS WORKSHOP
                               on
                       COMBINATION RESEARCH
                               and
                     GLOBAL GEOPHYSICAL FLUIDS

The IERS workshop planned to be held at the Parc Belle Vue Hotel in
Luxembourg City, Luxembourg, October 5 - 6, 2006 will be postponed.

The reason for changing the meeting date is that too many other meetings
and workshops have been scheduled for this time period. Continuing with
the original time slot, would have undoubtedly resulted in a low
participation for an otherwise interesting and valuable workshop.

The scheduled   NEW   date for the workshop will be December 6 and 7.

To minimise travel funds and time the IERS workshop will be held in the
San Francisco area a few days before the AGU Fall meeting.

Please fix this date and location in your personnel travel planner. A
follow-up third announcement with a more detailed description, program
and registration forms will be released in August 2006.

We apologize for any inconvenience this change may have caused you.
